  • Here's a weird situation

    How's this for weird.
A developer had a conditional agreement on a subdivisible property in Auckland. He rung his solicitor from the States and said he wasn't proceeding and to let the deal drop. The solicitor got the story wrong and declared the contract unconditional. Upon developers return he was using very colourful language on the phone to his solicitor. As developer can't settle agent rings me looking for a quick sale. I offered 80K below current agreement but with quick settlement and SOLICITORS INSURANCE COMPANY AGREES TO PAY UP THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT AND MY OFFER.
So insurance companies do have their uses!!!
