New Zealand high end accomodation providers and tour operators could be onto a winner if National do the improbable and win next month.
Our level 1 status outside of Auckland has attracted holiday packages for the rich and famous - or just the rich!
In Stuff - news that National and Act would allow the quarantine to happen in privately managed accomodation has been welcomed by an adventure tourism operator who has done the numbers and it could be a win-win all round including $$ going back into the coffers for 'economy-class' quarantine services.
High end accomodation providers must be suffering without their overseas tourists happy to pay their high prices. Maybe Labour should just adopt this idea as their own come post Election.
Think of all the self isolation accomodation providers who could quickly change tack and become upmarket quarantine service providers instead.
