Hello,
I bought a property which was fairly run down to say the least and in the zeal of DIY, I did renovations which in required building consent. Below are the 3 things for which I should have applied for consent but didn?t.
I am not trying to figure what my options are now. Is there any chance of me getting a COA for this work? Should I even bother? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you
Sunny
I bought a property which was fairly run down to say the least and in the zeal of DIY, I did renovations which in required building consent. Below are the 3 things for which I should have applied for consent but didn?t.
- Kitchen remodelled, the sink was relocated to different part of the benchtop. Approx. a meter from the original location.
- A small sink added to a WC. There was just a toilet in it before so put in a small sink.
- Last but not least?. A tiled bathroom along with another toilet added. The work was done properly by a plumber i.e. floor was waterproofed etc.
I am not trying to figure what my options are now. Is there any chance of me getting a COA for this work? Should I even bother? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you
Sunny
