I need to sell my house in Auckland. I have a 1000m2 section and I am noticing that there is a lot of development to terraced/densification housing in my area. I am in an area where there are still predominantly ex state houses and a lot of them are on 1000m2 sections including mine and my neighbours. Old, low value houses in the middle of decent sections. He has also indicated he might be wanting to sell. Mixed housing urban zone. I am wondering if it would be advisable to team up with him, and put the properties up for joint sale we could split the sale price 50:50 as the houses are practically identical. Would this increase the proceeds?
