    Does Anyone Know?

I was recently told that certain media 'sessions' were carefully scripted.

Especially with the PM. No spontaneous questions allowed.

Questions (to be) asked at the 'briefing' had to be submitted in writing, beforehand.

That way, a carefully crafted response could be prepared by the spin doctors at It's-All-A-Matter-Of-How-You-Package-It, Inc., for the PM's response.

It seems a bit far-fetched, but with the current crop of NZ socio-commies in power, there's always room for doubt.

This is what has been happening for some time abroad.

I watch the daily briefings, it is extremely painful because I find the fact that our nations leader smiles, laughs and giggles her way through briefings talking about how many are sick, some are dying and we are reportedly generating 1000 per day unemployed - not a laughing, smiling matter or any reason to smile about. Telling us that people are complying with level 3 lock down when any fool can go outside and see the streets of Wellington and Auckland City are just as busy in Auckland and busier in Wellington CBD than pre-lockdown is a joke. It needs to be said as it is, and the rules need to begin to be enforced with Police check points - because it is not the ones breaking the rules that will suffer long term, it will be those that care about their jobs/business and the benefit it provides for their families enough to stay home.

I am sick and tired of doing my once per week trip to the supermarket to stand in line for 45min+ and watching people who have waited just as long, walking out with a bag of drinks and a 250ml coke. That isn't shopping, and standing in a line for 45 minutes is not social distancing, even if we are 2m (or 1m, as some shops have started imposing) apart.

It just would not surprise me if the childish stupid questions and easy to answer questions being slugged at our leaders are a carefully orchestrated theatrical designed to fool as many people as possible.

      That would be a problem.
      A sort of media censorship.

One good thing about knowing the questions before hand,
is that you can make sure you have good research and data,
      to give accurate answers.

Often they do answer uncomfortable questions directly and honestly.
So my gut instinct is that they are doing their best to be open and honest.
All the while being mindful of their responsibility not to propagate panic and misinformation.

There is currently some debate about the legal ability to enforce the rules.

They are following the Key/Joyce model which was an outstanding success.

It’s common and the trimmed information of mainstream media is a similar example. But if you do your own research - how do you deal with a dump disaster by foolishly putting the decision making power for people’s livelihood into the hands of those, who don’t pay the price for incorrectness?
Curiously that happens in all WHO guided countries except Sweden.
Where is the mainstream news about fake corona numbers, related demonstrations, protest of very healthy people lost everything and arrested people standing up for democracy?

I was surprised how quickly the world figured out the look of the virus presentation.
You must have flags, and lots of them in the background.
Personally, I think the Nuremberg Rally is the standard to beat, in terms of pure visual cohesion.

Side note, that ANZ logo looks a bit like a Russian religious icon, don't you think?
                  A person with a halo?
Now that's a good set of images to convey an idea!

what do they say, a picture paints 1 billion words.

Shouldn't that be in the conspiracy theory thread?

Possibly. However, I'm not suggesting that such a notion is valid or realistic.

I'm asking if anyone-in-the-know actually knows.

It should not be hard for someone with connections to the media to ascertain if PM-bewitched media-fests only allow previously notified-in-writing questions.
