I say what a load of bollocks. this so called "PHILANTHROPIST" buys cheap crap from china while destroying small business here, then he backs the government to back small business with free money paid for by the people.

If he's so concerned why not give back some of that FREE money from his own pocket!

This paragraph from the article had me in fits!
"But it is the three paragraphs in the middle of the eight-paragraph letter that are the core of the signatories’ message. The super-wealthy acknowledge that the problems both caused and revealed by Covid-19 cannot be solved with charity. Rather, they state, government leaders must take responsibility for raising the funds required and spending them fairly."

There was some spelling mistakes in there, it should have read:
"But it is the three paragraphs in the middle of the eight-paragraph letter that are the core of the signatories’ message. The super-wealthy acknowledge that the problems both caused and revealed by us elites cannot be solved with charity. Rather, they state, government leaders must take responsibility for raising the funds and stealing the money required and spending them fairly."

Why can't we have 30 year fixed rate mortgage terms

Maybe our banks know something... like negative retail rates maybe coming .

    And no recourse loans!
Funny how we have no rights/options yet our rates are so much higher than other countries.

Borrowing money for the U.S. has basically never been cheaper. As of July 15th, the yield on the 30-year U.S. Treasury bond stands at 1.33%. Ask yourself: if you could buy a house with a 30-year mortgage rate of 1.33%, would you borrow the money and buy it? The United States can currently go out into the debt markets and borrow money at next to nothing, using tax slave's from there $20 trillion economy to make the interest payments. According to the U.S. Treasury, net interest costs which represent the cost of borrowing money fell 11% in the first nine months of the fiscal year. The U.S. has never missed an interest payment, and probably never will in our lifetime.

An interesting read on the local
    conspiracy theorist movement in NZ.

    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/polit...for-the-centre

I don't have an issue with people who share similar views but I believe you have to understand it and profit from it...let the preachers preach.
I have known governments use mind control over people and media and I have become very wealthy from understanding what they do.
Im a lone wolf after equity and know governments cant stop me because they encourage it.
Top ups on welfare ..comes straight to my bank account through rent.
Minimum wage increases for the students?I get it when they buy the latest iPhone.
    I own shares in everything.
Reserve banks Quatative easing goes to
    Retail banks
    Business loans and eventually
comes straight to my shareholding account.
Inflation..add that to my property portfolio.

You landlord's worry about healthy homes cost and tenant rights..get over it ,pay thousands..make millions.

The more governments control...the wealthier I become...ohh What about tax?
Ask my accountant it's designed for the rich.

Minimum wage uesd to be for teens learning a service and life skills now adults use it as a full time job... blame the adult for wanting minimum wage and not educating themselves for a better paying job.
