  • Ban On Single Use Plastic Politicians Sept 2020

    Election 2020
19 Sept 2020 is GE Day.

Taxcindarella has spoken, committing Labour to a "positive, factual and robust" campaign, with Labour signing up to a Facebook initiative to track advertising to avoid the spread of 'fake news'.

Oh? 10,000 new, affordable houses per year, anyone?

Labour signing up to Facebook tool that tracks political ads

Jacinda Ardern signs up for Facebook's advertising transparency rules

Unfortunately, I don't have a house plant I dislike enough to kill by throwing up in its growing medium.

I think it might even be a landslide victory for Labour in the Election as they are now stealing National's thunder with investment in roading etc.

    cheers,

Look! No, Not There! Over Here!

Right, lots for roads, nothing for affordable houses.

But you're probably right. Overall the NZ voting constituency is as dumb as several short, borer-ridden planks.

They need all that miles & miles of new roading to connect to the 100,000 new free houses!
        Twytford is on to it.
        Oh wait...
The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates and a monthly salary - Fred Wilson.

I wonder how many people go into the poling booth and think this:

" I think I will vote for that nice lady,
          what a nice family.

Can we even go back to the days of glass bottles?
Or is there some sort of alternative?

I'm picking that the wedding won't be before the election.

Was it Maggie Thatcher who said they were like nappies?

Use once, changed and disposed of, for the same reasons.

If you remember the fun juveniles used to have smashing bottles on pavements, roads etc, umm glass isn't the answer - not great for tyres.

But a combo of glass for some product and cardboard used too where viable. I guess plastic is great for weight, longevity and cost.

Where are all those inventors when you need them

                      Ha.

                      Don't you start.

                      You'll really annoy the OP.

I thought he meant a ban on pro ecology politicians.

I think he means that most politicians are empty vessels worthy of disposal.

I guess many people get into politics to make their community a better place.
Others to solve some problem they are having with the people in charge.
But I think the OP is talking about people who are just there to be the center of attention or because it's easier than physical or creative work.
They are hollow people, similar to an empty soft drink bottle.

                      Very poetic, I like it.
