  • What accounting/management software do you use?

    Hello,
I am new to property investing and would like to know what software everyone uses to make the management side of things easier. Specifically, what software do you use for the accounting side of the house to aid with tax filings etc.

      Hi,

Xero is very common as most accountants also use it. Through an accountant it is only $12 per month for a non GST cashbook.

Xero should save you time by memorising transactions and importing your bank information automatically.

It can also track profit and loss per property.

Cashbook from Acclaim software. (monthly subs or one-off fee)

Quicken / Quickbooks (or whatever it's called now)

I use MYOB as I use this for my other business activities, but my accountant has also moved to Xero and if I hadnt been using MYOB for 15+ years I would probably switch to that too
