We have a property in a Mixed Housing Suburban Zone which has a separated lower level that has everything it needs to function a second dwelling. All work is consented, it simply doesn't have an oven. It is currently shown on the building plans as a lounge (with a sink in the lounge) and a bathroom.
What do we need to provide to the council to lodge a Change of Use from SH to SR, and ensure they are happy with everything for the "new" dwelling?: fire rating, etc
Do we need to get someone in to do a Fire Rating assessment?
