Like I am sure many of you, coming to terms with the latest sock-it-to-the-landlord legislation. One piece in particular I would like to gather wisdom on, is around documentation requirements. From this MBIE article:[had to remove link as not allowed to post them apparently]
"Landlords must begin keeping
records that show compliance with any healthy homes standards that apply,
or will apply, during the tenancy. Records can include:
Now I am keeping some or most of this anyway just for maintenance purposes, but probably not systematically enough to be able to "show compliance" for the TT satisfaction. What if anything are others intending to do around this requirement? I am half-thinking of building a specific-purpose database / application to help manage this, with the main benefit for me of being able to track maintenance records over time, but interested to see if there is anything else already out there that others are using

- a Building Code compliance certificate
- documents (eg receipts, reports or certificates), photographs and video recordings of professional work, evaluations or inspections that have been done
- product manuals and/or other manufacturer’s information for installed products, eg heat pump.
