    Default trust/ occupation right agreement

    can a trust buy an apartment in a retirement village - the one I am looking at says that the ORA has to be in the name of the person occupying the unit. TIA

    From my limited experience, a Trust cannot get a licence to occupy. I've heard tell that the way it's done is the "natural person" uses Trust money to buy-in and signs a mortgage or the like to the Trust.
