There are a couple of really old threads about this and wondered what the latest opinions are. I live in the Clevedon Rd area of Papakura and we want to but a house but don't really know the good/dodgy areas. We're looking at a house in Rosehill tomorrow and drove through the area today and it doesn't look so appealing although I'm told Rosehill is a popular area because of the school zoning. Are there parts of Rosehill to avoid? What about Opaheke?

Grew up in Opaheke. Is a nice enough place. But there was at least one house on the street that was known to be selling weed. This was 15-25 years ago so may have improved or maybe they're into P now...
But I echo Davo - most of Rosehill is pretty nice compared to Papakura as a whole. Go for a drive at different times of day. Park your car and walk a block early in the morning and just as the sun is setting. You'll get a good feel for the place.AAT Accounting Services - Property Specialist - [email protected]
