    Sorry I'm not sure what you mean,
    those 2 scenarios were from 2 different people, and I thought wow that''s easy I'd like to do that too.

    But when I asked my accountant she said - she said no you can't, but for some reason was unable to go into further details (english not first language).

    Hence I asked here.

    So now I know.

    But of course, the 2 people may not be telling the truth, but maybe sometimes but not all the time for example. I have learnt to know that Kiwis exaggerate a lot.

      Morning tea (coffee) at the office would probably be deductible
      Most companies supply morning and afternoon tea.

        Taking out a client or prospect for coffee and or lunch I think is the entertainment expense that is claimable.
