  • Auckland vs Dunedin

    Hi everyone

I would like to have some advice from everyone.

I live in my own house in Auckland.

Currently I have one investment property in Dunedin.

Now,I am planing to buy one more property, which one (city) would you choose?

    Please tell me your opinion!

Buy something in between the 2
    Wellington
Wellington typically is supported by Labour government policies

dunedin is booming at the moment but obviously prices are always going to be cheaper than auckland, big shortage of rentals here as well, i have a renovated 4 bedder in a good area going to be sold soon, around 500k is the land sharks estimate

Buy cashflow properties in Auckland, so you enjoy both high capital gain and high rental growth, with positive cashflow in day one.

          Else try Hamilton.

Bigger population and population growth = more capital growth and rent growth long term
