Tenancy Services misstating bond lodgement dates

Bond received day 1.
Bond final payment calculated as 23 working days later.
Bond paid on day 22 with bank receipts.
Tenant applies to tribunal on day 23.
Tenancy tribunal issues receipt on day 27 saying cheque received on day 26.
So according to tenancy services, I have breached the act. Tenant now believes I only paid after receiving tribunal notice.
Ask TS to clarify the discrepancy as the date is critical because the matter is before the tribunal.
TS resends exactly the same receipt.

Does the TS's receipt actually say received on day 26 or is it just dated 26th as the day it was processed. Either way pretty irrelevant as you have proof you paid on day 22. Show that proof to the adjudicator.

You should be safe. As long as you know the law pertaining to bonds. An interesting thing with bonds is that many professional landlords use direct debits for rent collection. Specifically banned in the RTA. Palace software even caters for the procedure!
