Beware of high rise rooftop pools

Where'd you get that picture? Is it a real failure of a rooftop pool?

The Philippines recent quake was the cause / source.

It was reported by a number of media.

Whether the pool failed or the water sloshed out, I know not. Probably the latter.

I've seen the effect in my own above-ground pool.

A quake induced wave motion emptied the pool by at least one third, as the water sloshed over the edges.

The in-pool water wave motion continued for quite a while after the quake stopped, too.
