Catch chickenpox, recover and you strengthen the group immunity.
Or get the vaccine.
If you don't want the vaccine then catch chickenpox.
To do neither is anti-social.
It is not anti social to catch chicken pox it is natural condition and few of these diseases are life threatening if care is appropriate Polio is exception perhaps and vaccines justified,
And yet you object to my view:
Your continual denigration of conscience as "stupid" is pathetic given these people may have good grounds. You really do little to dignify your otherwise reasonable points with personal attacks that are not justified.
You appear to read my posts differently to me.
I'm also struggling to understand your references to WW2 and the Jews.
Have I said anti-vaxxers should be forced to have the vaccine?

It has been hard to have a reasoned discussion under a banner that condemns anti-vaxers as "stupid" and the total lack of consideration for people with a contrary position. For many this is based on good faith and conscience. (and often also a good understanding of science despite your premises)
You want to single people out for special attention? How is that not attempting to force people to your view?

People have died due to the actions of anti-vaxxers.
Calling these people stupid is an understatement.
Whether they take the vaccine or not, is their call.
Do you believe the claims of the anti-vaxxers?
You haven't clearly stated your position.
So far, you appear to be defending the freedom of anti-vaxxers - which is admirable - but are not actually an anti-vaxxers.
What camp are you in?
Have your urged your children/grandchildren to have the measles vaccine?

antiv-axxers dont kill the measles does (in very rare cases mostly due to poor care or other pre existing conditions). Why dont we actually talk about issues that actually matter.
I appreciate the more reasoned recent posts. It was the puerile arguments that got me going.
but for me this really is the LAST WORD.

Ninety-five percent of the children under ten who have caught measles in New Zealand this year have not been vaccinated.Measles is life-threatening and can cause complications including permanent hearing loss, brain damage, pneumonia and seizures.

Middlemore Hospital has established a dedicated "measles ward" to deal with the influx of three children admitted each day with the vaccine-preventable illness.
Wards at Middlemore and Auckland's children's hospitals have been overrun with babies and older kids who are dangerously dehydrated and struggling to drink, fevered, and suffering from pneumonia and chest and ear infections while battling measles. This included three babies in the past two months who have been admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit fighting for their lives. Auckland's Starship Hospital has also seen children in intensive care.In the current measles outbreak, more than 600 cases have been reported nationwide. Around 40 per cent of those suffering from the highly-contagious disease have been hospitalised.
At last the media are shunning anti-vaxxers.
