The statement for 1 July 2020 is NOT available on their website, although the relevant page does have a good overview of what will be required (https://www.tenancy.govt.nz/starting...tent-to-comply)
I have just rung Tenancy Services and asked when the statement will be available, so that we can build relevant systems to produce said statement, and after checking with a senior advisor the only response was "nearer the time". So good luck with complying with that one then...

But, but, but, you need to remember that the lie starts with the title of the legislation.

It is not about healthy homes, at all. Even if the legislation's figures and calculations are asinine, it's all about 'healthy' residential rental accommodation.

If you're a socialist / labour type supporter, Taxcindarella and Dhil Twitford et al don't care a stuff if the home you own and live in is below the healthy homes standards. Such socialist / labour type supporters could live in a mice-infested, draft-afflicted, uninsulated flea pit, for all they care.

Matthew Gilligan has written a good blog post on Healthy Homes and what tax you can claim back - it may surprise you to know that what most if not all of what Landlords 'have to' do can not be tax deducted or depreciated. WTF!

No wonder the Gov't are buying up motels - they're going to need lots of them!

When National leads a government again they will repeal a lot of the current government's rental changes. But if that is 2023 or later it will be way too late of course.

There was a mention in the NBR couple of weeks back that Minister Faafoi was willing to negotiate on some items in his current Bill, but not prepared to move on the 90 day notice issue.
