    Default Deck fall

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for that, it still seems a bit fuzzy with that online article giving the most certain direction in the last figure. In my case there is no "slope", it's just that the deck is 300mm too high in some areas. If I raise the ground for 1.2m in front of these area's via a garden box or lower decking area I'm sure I could get it passed the inspector based on this diagram, but it would still bug me as it doesn't physically apply to my situation.
