Have at them, varlets!
Prediction number 1: Dhil Twitford gets a few more kiwibuild houses organised, eclipsing his 2018 record of note.

Robert Kiyosaki says buy gold ahead of the biggest crash
...maybe he's just keen on rising it's value so he can make big on it himself?
It's doing well - at a 18 mth high @ $1260 per ounce.
John Key also warns of a downturn coming however I recall reading growth will be at around 2 percent - so not too bad for us in 2019.
cheers,
Donna

John Key presides over huge house price increases, huge immigration numbers, then goes into banking and decides it's all a bit of a disaster...
Squadly dinky do!

Sah Shonkey is shrewd, alright.

House prices drop a bit.
Rents continue to skyrocket.
Soon becomes cheaper to buy than rent.
10-20 more kiwi build houses get finished, don't sell - given away to housing charities instead.
Twytford & Taxinda say "it's FAIR" about 500 more times & raise "not new" taxes again.
The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates and a monthly salary - Fred Wilson.

Most of the economic indicator predictions by non-PT forumites will be proven wrong.
(Especially by Shambles Equivocate & bank econ-o-mists and their arcane, cloudy brain farts)
Some PT Forumites will get it wrong, too, to be fair.

I predict that:
* the rich will get richer
................and
* the poor will get poorer.
The main contributing factors to that state of affairs will be:
* Taxcindarella and the socialist ideologues she nominally heads
...............and
* the habits of the rich and the habits of the poor.
And possibly the wimp called Winston.

Grand Designs UK shortlisted a new build development designed for first home buyers - and it was an amazing development. What really impressed me was the entry point was really low - the purchasers just needed to earn £35K per annum - $66K NZD.
cheers,

I'd much rather see people getting a hand-up into their own house rather than been given a state house with subsidised rent.
Much better for them & the community at large.
Unfortunately the socialists are dead against methods that help people get ahead - reduces their voting base it seems.
