I have been successful in the past securing cleaning costs at TT for curtains that had never been washed since the start of their tenancy. I took pics of the condition before getting them cleaned .
In my Tenancy Agreements it states that curtains including nets must be clean at the end of the tenancy and if not they may be cleaned at a cost of $35 per hour. This is at least half the price of a professional dry-cleaning business !Its always a hassle and headache as many tenants just don't do it and think they can bypass it, which leads to disagreements over how long a time-factor is often involved, taking the curtains down , washing them often by hand then drying , ironing and rehanging. All in all an absolute labour intensive chore.
What does anyone else do?
