Hi everyone. We're currently looking at buying our second house in Auckland (after having just sold our first).
I'm wondering what people's thoughts are on the new builds that are happening in Auckland, specifically these large 5 bedrooms houses that are popping up everywhere.
Personally I'm not too keen on them as they seem to be all built by developers purely to sell on, which in my opinion means they tend to be built for lower quality materials, less care and generally with not much thought put into how a family would actually live in the house. Please see the tm links below as to some examples. My wife likes to say that they are this generation's leaky buildings, they looks flash but will probably have some major issues in the near future.
