  • Yunca WoodBurner Flue Inspection: How?

    Hi Guys,

Just bought first house in Invers, place has a Yunca installed which is great. I had the flue guard removed in the living room (Dont ask why) and found there are 3 hairline cracks or small holes in the Stainless Steel flue lowest section.

A friend told new its only ever the first 1200mm section that fails so just drill out the rivets, lift and replace the lower section. Is this correct?

I would prefer to be detailed and inspect the remainder of the Stainless flue, but unsure how to do this as it passes through the "jacket" in the ceiling space?

Is it as simple as getting on the roof and sliding the Stainless flue out the top of the jacket? Is this a managable size and weight?

Is it worth inspecting the rest of the flue, or just replace the lower section and call it done?

    Thanks so much guys!
Working...
