Cedar cladding

Looking at a property in Tauranga, Lockwood interior with cedar cladding outside, built in the 1983. Agent says that the cedar has never been stained before and that the western house wall will need to be re-cladded (Lockwood quoted ~25k). However Agent says another party did a builders report and said the house is watertight.

Apart from the re-cladding bit, should I be concerned about other potential future issues?

Get a building inspection done and one that includes measuring moisture levels.
