Now that the bridges are burned, it does seem to be awful quiet.

It would be helpful if the gNats would come out and say - unequivocally - what of the Socialists' idiotic legislation they would repeal if they got back into gummint. Maybe next year?

Need a pledge card, though. Akin to a bank cheque, no less.

I don't know who should lead the National party.

Paula Bennet... lost me ever since she went on TV a few years ago and said there is no housing crisis and teachers would have to suck it up in Auckland like everyone else. Look how well that worked out. If someone can say something that ignorant AND arrogant and still get on the leadership ticket National have issues.

Judith Collins... has an image problem around a lack of empathy and warmth. Many people vote by who they like and trust and she seems to lack the common touch that Key, Clarke, Ardern and even English had.

I have always liked Nathan Guy - but maybe he's too 'Bill English-ish'.

    cheers,

    It's getting close to Christmas.
    Will Judith pull it off?
The latest poll also shows National leader Simon Bridges stagnating on seven per cent as preferred Prime Minister, while MP Judith Collins roses to a close six per cent.

No change I reckon. The National party is doing well, so I don't see why they need to change the leader. They could closer to the election put Judith in as deputy to improve the 'team' on the ticket.

    cheers,
