We are looking at selling our apartment in Wellington.
There is an existing tenant whose tenancy renews in April around which time the property would go on the market.
My question is what is the best type of tenancy when selling a property; assuming we need the rent to come in, and the property may take a long time to sell?
I was thinking either monthly, or even 3 monthly would be ok for a new buyer.
And can we make it a provision of the tenancy that they allow open homes etc. ?
