Having been through open homes for some apartments in the weekend, one of which being a brand new listing in a prime location I can tell you that there just aren't that many people looking. I was only looking busy to satisfy the other half, who wants something on paper by the end of the year. But perhaps in general I was less interested than the people who didn't turn up, it really does feel like the calm before the storm but we cannot pick these things easily. Prices are still at or near all time highs, but the buyers just aren't there. Some Chinese buyers are having difficulty meeting schedules to to capital controls at home, which does not help them but will help Kiwis looking to buy in the long run.
Did the agent say why buyers are lined up to buy your property in particular, e.g. Does it have unique aspects other properties do not?
