On the Tenancy Services TA it seems to indicate that existing foil underfloor insulation meets the requirements for the compulsory insulation legislation . However this only applies to existing foil installations it is not allowed to be installed from 2004 onwards.
So i take it from this that existing foil will meet the compulsory insulation requirements?
If so this could save many landlords a truckload of money ,unfortunately i already upgraded my properties from foil to thermal blankets recently.
