We're looking at building another dwelling on the section next to existing house, and if we could afford it potentially subdividing.
In Auckland, Council said to check with LINZ re limitations of how many properties are allowed on the ROW. Ordered the ROW document from LINZ and can see no such thing mentioned. My partner had a phone call with LINZ and they aren't sure and said it'll probably be okay. We don't want to start spending thousands for plans and such with a 'probably'! Anyone know much about this! Partners going to have to go back to the Council and ask what they were thinking exactly could be the restriction. (Haven't engaged a builder yet)
There's already about 7-10 properties on this ROW.
