How to quote?
From time to time you may want to add a quote from another source within your post.
Here is how you do it in the PropertyTalk.com forums.
1) While you are creating your post look at the Message box and you will see a few buttons that allow you to format your message text. You can bold, highlight, underline text and add smiles. The button that allows you to add a quote is denoted is highlighted in the picture below.
2) If you click on that button you might get a little box appear that allows you to add the quote. If you do get the quote box appear just add a letter to the box and click the “Ok” button.
The reason why I told you to do just add a letter and not your quote is the box cannot accept more than one line So when you do it my way you will see within your Message box the quote tags (see picture below).
Now what I do next is place my cursor between the quote tags and add my quote there.
3) If you do not see a little box appear that’s no big deal because what will happened in this case is that the quote tags appear within your Message box. Now position your cursor between the quote tags and enter in your quote.
4) You can preview what your quote will look like when you post is it by clicking on the “Preview Post” button. If you click on the “Preview Post” button you will be taken to a preview of your post. There you will see how your post will look if you submit the post for real.
5) that’s it!
Cheers
