I heard on the radio (and am trying to confirm) that IAG is introducing a new regime for tenanted properties whereby the insurance for some instances will not be given if the tenancy is allowed to terminate with in three months (IE periodic).
It follows that the minimum period of tenancy will be that of a fixed term tenancy of three months and then allowed to roll over onto periodic (if periodic was initially asked for).
