New Zealand seems high on the list of destinations for US citizens looking to leave the country after Donald Trump's election win.
PS: If this is the end of the world... It's been good knowing some of you...
Why not Australia ?

The democrats voted in half the numbers they did last time and lost by 1-2% in a few key states. They brought this on themselves.Free online Property Investment Course from iFindProperty, a residential investment property agency.

Not just an influx of US citizens, but USA is traditionally top choice for Indian and Chinese students, and immigrants in general..
Trumps made it clear they're less welcome... policies not clear (apart from his wall!).. but saw some shocking news where school kids in states were chanting racist slogans etc it's not nice being a minority over there...
So they'll start flowing to the next best choice, flooding that market, then into next etc .. eventually meaning more looking to NZ too.

Don't know if anyone actually watched "nigel latta's the hard stuff on NZ immigration"..... but I took away from it that it's actually much harder to call NZ home for foreigners ....MUCH much harder than pretty much everyone I have heard from on forums .....I do think it was a lot easier but in recent times they have stopped allowing families of new NZ to also get a chance to immigrate >>>

Countdown doesn't stock the brand I like, I don't go for the one they try to push on me, I just don't buy any.
My choice of your choice, isn't really a choice at all.

Your analogy misses the fact that even if you don't buy you still have to spend the next 4 years eating one of the two cans of peaches.Free online Property Investment Course from iFindProperty, a residential investment property agency.

You're talking long term or tactical thinking.
That's a totally different level of behavior.
I'd suggest that Emotion trumps Tactical thinking for many of us most of the time.
