Commercial / office to residential conversion

Hi,

Not sure if anyone is doing something similar on this forum, I hope I could get in touch with someone active on this field.

Basically, I am toying with the idea of a small office block / warehouse / commercial property conversion back to residential units. Not on a big scale, 3-4 units top as end result. Did some research, but did not find active players, or much more info on this.

Would love to hear your view, pros/cons, why its crazy? why its great idea? easier than building from scratch? or its totally the opposite?

I've done before and it's a very lucrative business. You have to make sure you are on side with the council that's the biggest thing. The rest is due diligence to make sure of your return on investment
