  • Can we make our personal information not to be public in companies office site

Having personal information showing in companies office makes it worse than you are in white pages. Anyone can find all your details using Companies office and property guru and it can be very annoying some times & it's outrageous the number of phone calls and mails received daily basis.

It would be interesting to know what's your experiences like .

Is there a way to make personal information (in Companies office) available for the relevant official organizations ONLY ?

    Nope.

    You can obscure things, though.

For example, listing lawyers or accountants details - your advisor will usually charge a fee for this. Or creating a trust to own the shares in the company, and using a lawyer or accountants professional trustee service so no one knows who the beneficiaries of the trust are.

But otherwise, nope. Public information is public.

Yes you can, easy but expensive. Talk to your lawyer about blind trusts if it's that important to you.

By mail I presume you mean real letters.
Phone calls? Where do they get your number from? If the phone book then go unlisted.

You must be very popular for some reason - I don't get any mail or phone calls re my companies.

Often when a new company starts up you get a couple letters from companies trawling the register wanting to sell you things. But this usually stops after the first couple months. I've never got a phone call.

Yep Dean will know how to salt away money, assets etc. so that creditors can't get to it.

Was in the real estate office the other day

Surprised to see how easy it was to see what a person or company owned

Yes, amazing service, that. Had access for a while as part of a property course at university.

But I don't think the OP is worried about this sort of thing - rather the general public looking at his address.

It's easy enough to use a professional advisor's office for the address for service/communications, notwithstanding that it can get quite annoying for us I look on the occasional irritation as a cost of doing business. To go any further than that (ie keeping your name off completely) requires you not to be a director, and most people want to be one. But, if you aren't a director and don't want to be, you can establish a trust to hold the shares using a corporate trustee from your accountant or lawyer, and that will keep you quite anonymous as far as the public viewing the Companies Office are concerned.
