Shared Property

Hi

We are buying a property and it will be shared with a friend as he is paying part of the deposit. Is this something that Conveyancing company will deal with or we have to hire a lawyer or ??? Please advice.

Personally I'd get it all drawn up by a Lawyer and I'm sure all will be fine but the future can change things and you need to be prepared!

You are talking either a JV agreement or joint wonership on title or registered mortgages. None of those you would do without a lawyer.
