Hi there
if the description of the cladding in a 1972 house is
is it a monolithic cladding without a cavity ?
the system of cavity was introduced and made compulsory only after 2004 or was it prevalent in early 70 also?
if the moisture levels during the tests are normal, is it worthwhile taking a risk ?
The owner had a friend bring over his moisture test meter and scan the house
I am getting it at 100 above RV whereas it has become a norm of 200 above RV now in Johnsonville
If it is worth taking a risk ( I have a low threshold of risk ) then I will get a builders report, asbestos test and a infrared moisture test done to be sure, but will spend the money only if recommended to buy, as the chances of becoming a leaky home is very low after a span of 40 year some
