Replacing Sun room with a deck
Hey guys,
Long time lurker first time poster here.
I'm planning to remove a sun room and replacing it with a deck. There's already a gap in the wall so there's no need to knock down any walls. I want to then install a french door in place of this Gap.
Have anyone done similar thing? Do I need a building consent (technically it's not structural, the wall already been knocked off sometime in the 60's to make way to the sun room)? Any estimate on how much this might cost me?
I can't seem to find similar experience on the web in NZ...
