Leicester property investment advice

Hi all

I am wanting to look at property investing in Leicester, UK. I have just moved here so do not know much about good or bad areas in Leicester or property investing in the UK. Does anyone have advice or can point me in the right direction to find out things such as, property investment strategies in the UK, good yielding/capital growth areas in Leicester and any other general advice that may be helpful?

Not sure if this matters much now (looking at the date posted), but to anyone looking at investing in the Midlands, it is a very interesting market right now, which is due to provide steady growth due to the increased transport links to London.

Chippenham went through this a while back, and saw huge growth.

Definitely an area to keep an eye on.
