We are planning to build in the next year and are thinking about using either Aluminium (probably Duobord Flashclad) or Vinyl cladding (Mitten or Palliside). Our Architect wants to use vertical stained shiplap (we haven't told him yet), but we don't like the idea of staining maintenance especially being 3 levels and hate the weathered look. Obviously all these companies say the others are terrible and we should go with them however they are all Branz appraised so shouldn't they all be as good as each other? Thoughts anyone? Cheers Jen
