Default So the great brain drain to Oz continues...

    http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/vic...-1227544326039

An average train driver will now be paid $143,600 and a ticket inspector will cash in $98,797 with superannuation on top.
I'm heading off to Melbourne folks, see you later alligator

Must be a ruddy nightmare being stuck in the train drivers seat in that balmy Aussie weather...but for a pay-check over $143,000...hmmm.

I knew that conductors made good pay in the US but holy cow! You have to remember though that this is not a job that has a lot of positions so if 10 people went after the same job in one area, how many you think will get hired?
