  • Story on Story...mouldy 9 degree house...considered a dehumidifier and a heater?

    Anyone else watch this?
Why don't they turn the heatpump on if the mould bothers them that much? I've lived in poorly insulated damp flats (in Dunedin where there is serious damp!) but never got that sort of mould!!

i was thinking the same, my house is over 100 years old 2 storey the only insulation is batts in the ceiling, the only heating is a big mothering logburner that only gets lit at 5 ish when we get home, we dont have mould or condensation problems, what are these people doing to create all that wet? unflued gas heater?

When it was built electricity could be used for heating.
          It was cheap or something?
