    My research of the UK real estate cycle (although not yet complete) indicates a bigger drop than 5%... think back to the negative equity days... that's only about 10% below where they are now for many...

    Thanks Marc,

    It will take more time to make conclusive findings and I expect to have a better handle on these matters by the end of this year. Hopefully will be able to make some meaningful projections for 2006-07 for the UK real estate cycle and how severe (or otherwise) the next few years may be (backed up by relevant data).

    In the meantime I should be able to post some of my findings here as I progress my research.

    Hi Kieran,

    That's great news that you're looking at the UK. I think there are a lot of lessons to be learned and applied in NZ. Many of the lessons are what NOT to do!! :-)

    That's why it's a great time for UK investors to buy in New Zealand. We're going to be in London in September to assist any one who would like more info on doing this.
    Come to where things are not so volatile!!
