Ivan is right, it's simply a matter of getting a copy of the instrument lodged against the title and reading it. It can be done online at places like Terranet and only costs a few dollars.Squadly dinky do!

seem to remember many waiheke sections had/have encumbrances about drainage
as council hadn't/hasn't gotten around to providing proper drainage plans for bush streets with very few builds
ie they slap em on for reasons that look good at the time
but sometimes years later no one can tell you exactly why they are there
or what will be happening with them...
a proper conveyancing lawyer should see them all the time and know which ones are important and which are nothave you defeated them?
