I'm trying to sell my IP to my tenant at the moment. Not out to make a killing, but fair market value minus say 50% of what I save on estate agent's fees, marketing and auction fees by selling privately so that it is win-win situation for my tenant and me. Luckily for me, the adjoining townhouse sold for a very good price only 4 months ago so I have a good price comparison.
What's the standard marketing fees and auction fees if you sell with the agent like say, Harcourts with a standard 3-4 week campaign followed by auction? The IP is in Christchurch.
