Orkibi - why, when one clicks your "click here for more info", does one receive a "Norton has prevented a massive attack" message appearing, and your site to bomb with all sorts of link errors?
I don't know at this stage T LL, we have run scans of the site for viruses in the last 24h cannot find any harmful thing.
We are running another scan now and together with the developer look in to it.

    I will keep you posted.

I just wanted to make sure frazzledfozzle is aware of the difference between a buyers agent; who are licensed and bound by the REAA; and a property finder.

The table that Essence posted to start this thread shows Wellington Central as consistently having the best returns.
Are there any PTers out there who specialise in Wellington Central?

Where do you find these buyers agents? And what is the difference between them and a property finder?

How much should I be expecting them to take?

          I'm in Auckland

            Hi Jay The Kiwi

There are few good ones you can work with, some good ex property finders i know are in the process of obtaining a license.

Try the team at i find property as starter: http://www.propertygenie.co.nz/buyer...find-property/

What is the difference between how a property finder is paid as opposed to a buyers agent?

A Buyers agent is a licensed agent by the REAA, it is my understanding that they are paid a fixed fee for specific deal depending on the size of the property price.

in general a property finder could have charge whatever hey wanted... while good good once always charged between 5k-25k depending on the deal.

the main point now is the disclosure that a Buyers agent has to work by, read this: Which One Should You Choose – Buyers Agents OR Property Finders?

                i hope that helps.

interesting thanks. My only experience with a buyers agent was one that worked for ray white ponsonby. I rang the listing agent, and he said for me to call his "buyers agent". the buyers agent arranged to show me through the house, followed up afterwards with a call etc. I firmly believed he was just the agents assistant, and had I bought the house I certainly wouldn't have expected to pay a fee! I suspect there may be a few definitions of the title..

Yes, the ones I referred you to don't act for any vendor, they act for the buyer, investor .
