I seem to recall that there are some experts here on PT, so here is my question.
Have a nice Sony TV with Freeview, no dish, just an old aerial
on the roof with line of sight to skytower where I assume signal is coming from.
99 percent of the time picture is perfect.
There are some trees on neighbours section that are in the line of sight.
On wet and windy nights we do get what i call signal drop out,
picture goes all pixellated for a few frames, but I can live with that.
My problem is that once or twice a month I will lose all sound, picture is perfect just no sound.
Sound usually stays off all night, but is fine next day.
So whats the fix, new modern aerial or poison the neighbours trees, something else???
Appreciate any help.
Cheers
