The pro abt selling your house yourself is that you would omit paying commission, but on the flip side, you would need to be versed in the paper work and procedures. Any bladder in paper works might void the contract.

Hire an agent for home selling is good option. An agent can sold your property at more rate than yourself. Another it is not easy to find good customers and completing paper work.
