Okay this may tricky or just plain simple so maybe a bit of clarification.
I have sold a property that goes unconditional on Tuesday.
It was a race between the agent selling it trying to get a good deal, and the property manager finding a tenant, so I was seeing if I could find a good tenant, otherwise sell.
After accepting an offer, that had not gone unconditional, the property manager found a tenant and signed them up on Friday.
The agent says the vendor does not want a tenant.
But the S&P is not vacant possesiion.
So do I have a problem here ??
If this goes through Tuesday, the vendor not expecting a tenant, but now they have one due to arrive in 2.8 weeks and possibly signed up for 6 months periodic tenancy.
