backdate their notices! Or write today's date and write 'as per our phone conversation several weeks ago' ....and I am moving out tomorrow

when they were clearly advised in writing on the day of the conversation that:
- we do not accept verbal notices
- please put the notice in writing asap
????

that would explain the advice one other tenant received last week...he is on ftt till august but was advised telling us over the phone he is moving because he found a job elsewhere was good enough reason to verbally unilaterally without giving any date terminating the ftt and that if ll does not accept he is unreasonable and to take us to tt!?
Now this just put in writing as per phone conversation weeks ago crap???
