Letting fee query

a friend has just moved into a home under the same real estate agency and same agent. Should a letting fee still be required

perhaps they could try to negotiate on the basis of being a "good tenant" and not needing to be vetted again

but if the new place was also advertised on trademe etc that would have cost something and the change in paperwork etc will take office time...
